AGEphone is a softphone based on the international SIP standard. The AGEphone microSIP stack, an original SIP parser as well as an IP packet processing program make operating at a super small size and with a super light weight possible.

Although the VoIP Engine is very small and light, it offers great sound quality through a newly developed packet buffering which makes the dream of high quality audio phone calls come true.

AGEphone works very well together with other applications: for example, address books from Outlook or Outlook Express can be imported easily. An overview list for easy management of incoming and outgoing calls can be displayed just like on a mobile phone, and calls can be started by a single click onto the overview list.

Moreover, the Click to Call function makes it possible for you to start dialing a phone call by simply clicking on a callto: tab linked on the internet or in an Email, so AGEphone can be easily integrated into various applications.

Because the VoIP engine is very small, AGEphone operates very lightly, so it doesn't occupy a lot of resources and can run together with a multitude of other programs without causing any noticeable slowdown or stress.

AGEphone uses an original graphic user interface. When typing the first digits of a number, it will create and display a list of numbers matching these digits. The name of the person to dial can also be looked up via the number and be displayed. AGEphone is designed to support the simultaneous use of a large number of IP telephone services. You can even be available via several telephone numbers at the same time!

Of course, AGEphone is also equipped with an answering machine. When you are not available, an announcement will be played to the caller and a message will be recorded in WAV file format. The status display will change notifying you of a message so you do not need to worry about missing one when you're away from your computer.

	Use Multiple Service Providers at Once With AGEphone, it is possible to use multiple telephone services at once. By combining several telephone services it is possible to make much cheaper calls than when relying on a single provider. It is also possible to receive calls from a foreign telephone number assigned to you. For example, you can obtain and simultaneously use telephone numbers from services in the U.S. and Japan and be available via all these different numbers at once, whether you are in the U.S., Japan, or anywhere else. And when making a call, you simply choose the cheapest provider according to your location.
	Provider Quick-Switch/Speed Dial This enhanced user interface makes switching between your providers a snap. Simpy assign a provider to a button--then right before you make that long distance call to your mother, click on your long distance provider button. Works just like speed dial. In fact, it is Speed Dial too! The settings menu will accept a phone number entry just as well as it would a provider address.
	Support of the Latest Address Books Current versions of Outlook and Vista address books are supported. You can easily import your contacts into the AGEphone address book in a single step. The AGEphone address book enables you to start dialing a phone call by simply clicking on a contact. After importing, data in the address book can be edited separately.
	Skin Support You can change the appearance of the softphone to your liking. If you wish to use a more simple design than the full telephone-like appearance, just select "mini panel style" from the options menu. The mini panel style is much more compact and only occupies a small area of your screen while still giving you quick access to all basic functions.
	Incoming Call Notifications Feel at ease while while perusing the internet or working on a word document, confident in the fact when you're taxi calls or you're employer is trying to contact you, AGEphone will notify you. As long as the incoming caller is in your address book, any time they call a little notification window peeks out from the corner of your screen with their info; then, simply click on the window to connect.
	Call Picker CallPicker is an application-independent tool for quickly dialing phone numbers with AGEphone or Skype from anywhere on your desktop. Easily place calls with a single click from within Internet Explorer, Firefox, PDF files, mail clients and other applications.
