Plantronics conducted the largest ever human-factors study of the ear before designing the Encore headset range. This study, of over 700 ears, resulted in a headset created for supreme comfort and stability. Encore's unique Sound Enhancement System allows users to alter the tone of their caller's voice at the flick of a switch. It's quick and easy to change a normal telephone tone into a fuller, richer sound - and with the Encore Binaural headset, the sound can be adjusted separately for either ear. Encore Monaural headsets, which provide sound in one ear, are ideal for users who may need to confer with colleagues when making or taking a call. For environments where users really need to concentrate on a call, the lightweight, comfort designed single cable binaural version reduces distracting background noise. As with all Plantronics office headsets, the Encore features Plantronics patented Sound Guard Plus and Call Clarity technology. Its' easy to use Quick Disconnect feature places the caller on hold, while allowing users to leave their desk without removing their headset.
